Arun Iyer is the Founder and Creative Partner at Spring Marketing Capital, a creative marketing and investment firm that blends brand-building expertise with strategic capital.

Arun started his career in 2001, as a copywriter at TBWA\India, and later moved on to CNBC-TV18 as a senior copywriter. In 2003, he joined (then called) Lowe Lintas as the Chairman and Chief Creative Officer, and continued his stint there for the following 15 years, before starting his own initiative.

At Lowe Lintas, Arun became one of the youngest leaders to head a major agency. Under his leadership, the agency earned global recognition, including multiple Cannes Lions and the title of the world’s “Most Effective Agency”. He was also named to the Economic Times 40 Under 40 list.

Arun has played a pivotal role in building some of India’s most iconic brands and campaigns. He helped launch Byju’s, shaping its journey as one of India’s leading edtech companies; redefined Axis Bank’s consumer connect; created distinctive positioning for Swiggy in a competitive category; and helped make Google locally relevant for every Indian. He was instrumental in launching Hotstar, India’s first homegrown OTT platform, and crafted enduring campaigns such as Surf Excel ‘Daag Achhe Hain’ and Fastrack’s edgy youth-driven branding. Under his guidance, Tanishq strengthened its reputation as one of India’s most trusted jewelry brands.

Some his most recognised work are Camlin 'Rudali', Flipkart 'Saree', Levi's 'For Now. For a Lifetime.' ft. Deepika Padukone, and Wakefit 'Andar ke Bacche ko Jagaao'.

With a career spanning over two decades, Arun has helped transform brands across industries—ranging from disruptive startups to established multinationals.
