Abhijat Bharadwaj

Chief Creative Officer at Creativeland Asia with more than 15 years of advertising experience, having worked with some of India's most prominent agencies and brands. He is known for his ability to generate new ideas, placing strong insights and Indian cultural nuances at the heart of each campaign he creates. Bharadwaj's key strength is in film-making, combining Indian flavor with humor to deliver stories that resonate with audiences.

Bharadwaj recently won the Gold and Bronze awards at the 2022 Spikes Asia international advertising festival for his Money Heist Season 5 campaign for Netflix. He is currently serving as the Executive Creative Director at Creativeland Asia, where he leads teams working on brands such as Netflix, Swiggy, Pizza Hut, and Godrej. He has a proven track record of successfully pitching and winning accounts across offices, contributing to successful campaigns for brands such as Star Sports, Netflix, Swiggy, Hotstar, and Mercedes Benz. Bharadwaj's Netflix Campaign titled 'Netflix for all' was hugely successful, significantly increasing India's Netflix subscriber base.

Before joining Creativeland Asia, Bharadwaj was an Executive Producer at Star India, where he headed advertising for Premium & Emerging Sports. During his tenure, he launched the Hero Indian Super League and led the creative development of Hotstar's inaugural Indian Premier League campaign. He was also involved in developing the positioning of ProKabaddi.

Bharadwaj's vision is to bring together his Indian roots with world-class storytelling to create outstanding content for the Indian market. He particularly enjoys working on scripts and concepts for films and web series.
