Ria Singh is a freelance director from Howrah, West Bengal, who firmly believes that “a film is born from a strong script.”


Her storytelling is recognised for being playful, emotional, insightful, and deeply relatable, allowing her to create narratives that strike a human chord and resonate across audiences.


Her creative versatility spans across films, music videos, commercials, and video installations. She first gained attention with the Breakfree music video for When Chai Met Toast and the Bumble Women’s Day Campaign Video in 2021. Her film “Change the Soch” for Franklin Templeton won Gold in Corporate Purpose & Social Responsibility at the Good Ads Matter Awards 2025.


Ria is known for breaking stereotypes through her narrative-driven filmmaking style, bringing a fresh voice that resonates with modern audiences. Some of her notable works include Tanishq – Brothers, Written By Sisters for Raksha Bandhan, CRED’s “A Moon Machine” feat. Zeenat Aman, and METRO Shoes – Secure Men, Seasoned Love, among several others.
