Vineet Mahajan is the Creative Director at OpenAI and the Founder of Viem Collective. A highly awarded creative professional, he is known for blending strong artistic sensibilities with strategic thinking, bringing a distinctive visual and narrative depth to his work.
A Bachelor of Fine Arts by training, Vineet began his career in advertising with a deeply visual approach to storytelling. Over the years, he has built an expansive body of work across leading agencies such as Ogilvy and McCann, along with Contract Advertising, where he served as Head of Art. He has worked on notable campaigns for brands like Nescafé, Coca-Cola, Videocon, and Aircel. His work is marked by culturally resonant narratives and strong visual craft, earning features in global publications such as Communication Arts, Campaign Brief Asia, and The Work.
Through Viem Collective, he has led a diverse set of contemporary campaigns, including work for YouTube, Khadi, CureBay’s “Maa” campaign for the US market, Ujjivan’s “Shagun Ka Lifafa,” Good Knight Power Shots for West Africa, and Bukaroo’s “Fit My Feet.”
His work has won multiple awards at international platforms including Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, The One Show, D&AD Awards, and Spikes Asia, along with several honours at Indian advertising award shows. He was also recognised by The Economic Times as one of the “Hottest Young Creatives” and was featured on Young Turks.
