Max Geraldo is the Chief Creative Officer at GUT Toronto. With over 20 years of experience, he is one of the most awarded Brazilian creatives of his generation, having worked across leading agencies in Brazil, the United States, and Canada.
He began his career in Brazil, working at agencies including JWT, AlmapBBDO, DM9DDB, Lew’Lara\TBWA, and FCB. While leading the creative team at FCB Brazil, the agency became one of the three most awarded in the country in 2014 and 2015.
He later moved to the U.S., joining FCB Chicago, followed by senior creative roles at We Are Unlimited and Arnold Boston. He went on to serve as President of Grey Group Brazil before relocating to Canada as Chief Creative Officer at BBDO Canada, leading the agency through a period of strong creative recognition.
Across his career, Geraldo has worked with top global brands including Volkswagen, Nivea, Pepsi, Adidas, Itaú, Unilever, Mondelez, Nestlé, McDonald’s, Clorox, Volvo, P&G, and Heineken.
His work has been recognised at major international festivals, including Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show, and Clio Awards, with multiple Grand Prix wins. He has also served as a jury member at leading global award shows, contributing to industry evaluation and standards.
