Aarti Samant, is a digital marketing consultant and founder of MicDrop Digital, a brand and marketing consultancy that works closely with businesses to build distinctive, purpose-led brand narratives and strategies. She is also the co-founder of Sorted, a digital-first platform focused on making marketing education accessible and actionable.


Known online as “The Sorted Girl,” her social media presence is centred on simplifying marketing, content strategy, and digital growth. Positioned as a “no-faff” marketer, her work focuses on cutting through complexity and driving measurable ROI through clear, insight-led communication.


After pursuing an MBA in Marketing, Samant built her career across both agency and brand-side roles, working as a digital planner before moving into brand and growth marketing with companies such as Hotstar, Purplle, and Future Group, where she gained hands-on experience across content, e-commerce, and digital strategy.


Following the launch of Sorted, Samant co-founded Masala Tokri, a premium gourmet spice brand built alongside her mother. Launched in 2019, the brand focuses on artisanal, hand-pounded spice blends inspired by regional Indian cuisines, aiming to preserve authentic flavours while offering high-quality, chemical-free products.


Her work has earned industry recognition, including India’s Top Digital Planners (2015) by Digital Marketing Asia and Businessworld, and Most Talented Social Media Professional (2014) by the Global Youth Marketing Forum.
