Emma de la Fosse is a Creative Leader and Creative Consultant at The Effectiveness Partnership, with over 35 years of experience in the industry. Widely regarded as one of the foremost female creative leaders, she has built a career defined by innovative, multi award-winning work across disciplines, both individually and as a Chief Creative Officer. Her work spans brand, digital, customer experience, and PR, with a consistent focus on using creativity to drive both business and behavioural change.
She began her career as a junior copywriter at a boutique agency, going on to work across a range of agencies before stepping into senior leadership roles. Over the years, she has held key positions including Chief Creative Officer at Ogilvy UK, Digitas UK, Edelman and Havas CX.
After more than three decades in the industry, she has stepped back from CCO roles at network agencies to work as a fractional CCO and creative consultant, partnering with agencies, brands, and consultancies to shape creative direction, strengthen leadership, and translate strategy into effective creative output.
Throughout her career, she has worked with global brands including British Airways, IBM, Kellogg’s, Kimberly-Clark, EY, DP World, and the NHS, delivering both commercial impact and creative excellence.
Her work has been recognised with the industry’s highest honours, including D&AD Yellow Pencils, Cannes Grand Prix, One Show ‘Best in Show,’ DMA Grand Prix, and multiple Effies.
Beyond her work, she is a respected industry voice, frequently serving as a jury member, contributing to publications such as WARC and Campaign, and leading masterclasses for D&AD, alongside speaking at major industry forums.
