Shamila Lengsfeld is a German-Iranian director, screenwriter, and AI filmmaker. She is an Adobe Ambassador, Creative Partner at InVideo.io, and Creative Director at LEaT con, where she works on AI-led broadcast and future workflows. Her work focuses on integrating artificial intelligence into filmmaking, both as a creative tool and a production process, with a strong emphasis on accessibility and new storytelling possibilities.

She also conducts masterclasses, keynotes, and consultations for productions, studios, and filmmakers on AI workflows, previsualisation, and implementation. Her broader aim is to democratise cinematic storytelling and create opportunities for new voices in the industry.

Her work blends genres such as action, sci-fi, and psychological drama, often combining live-action with AI and VFX. Having worked across multiple roles including director, cinematographer, editor, and screenwriter, her approach is both technical and narrative-driven.

Her short film Blake (2017) won the German Newcomer Film Award, marking an early breakthrough. She has since received multiple recognitions, including Best Drama at the New York Film Awards (2020) for Echo, Best Director at the Munich Film Awards (2020), Best Writer at Webfest Berlin (2019), and Best Short at the International Film Festival Barcelona (2022), among others.
