Swanand Kirkire


Swanand Kirkire is a renowned Indian artist who has made remarkable contributions to the Indian film industry as a lyricist, singer, and actor. He began his career in 2003 as a lyricist in the movie "Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi," which earned him the National Film Award for Best Lyrics. He has since written lyrics for several critically acclaimed movies, including "Parineeta," "Lage Raho Munna Bhai," "3 Idiots," "PK," and "Manjhi: The Mountain Man."


Additionally, he has lent his voice to many Bollywood film songs as a playback singer. Kirkire is also a talented actor and has acted in various films and TV shows, such as "Chillar Party," "The Bright Day," and "English Vinglish." Kirkire has received numerous awards for his exceptional work, including the Filmfare Award for Best Lyrics on several occasions, in addition to the National Film Award. He has also been recognized with the Zee Cine Award, Screen Award, and IIFA Award for his contributions to the Indian film industry.
