Richa Chadha

Richa Chadha is an Indian actress who works primarily in Hindi cinema, along with streaming and television productions. She made her screen debut with a supporting role in Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! (2008).

Born in Amritsar and raised in Delhi, Chadha studied at St. Stephen’s College. She began her career as a model before moving into theatre, performing in stage productions under theatre director Barry John.

Her breakthrough came with Anurag Kashyap’s Gangs of Wasseypur (2012), where her performance earned the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress. She subsequently appeared in films including Fukrey (2013) and its sequels, Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela (2013), and Masaan (2015). Other projects include Section 375 (2019) and Panga (2020). Alongside films, she has worked in streaming series such as Inside Edge and Heeramandi (2024).

In addition to acting, Chadha has been involved in theatre, modeling and social initiatives, and co-founded the production company Pushing Buttons Studios with actor Ali Fazal in 2021. She continues to work across film and digital platforms.
