Nitin Saini is the Vice President of Marketing at Mondelēz India and a member of the India Country Leadership Team, where he leads the marketing mandate across one of India’s most iconic snacking portfolios.


Nitin holds an MBA from IIM Calcutta and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from IIT Delhi, and is widely recognised for building brands that combine global scale with local cultural relevance.


A Mondelēz veteran with over two decades at the company, Nitin began his journey as a Management Trainee and has since built deep, end-to-end experience across Sales and Marketing, spanning India, regional APAC roles, and global leadership positions. His career reflects a rare blend of brand stewardship, commercial ownership, and strategic scale.


Before returning to India, Nitin spent over three years in the US as part of Mondelēz International’s Global Marketing Leadership Team, where he led the Oreo brand globally and for the US business unit. Under his leadership, Oreo delivered consistent double-digit growth over three years, achieved its best-ever global performance, and was awarded Kantar’s ‘Brand of the Decade’ at Cannes in 2022. As Global Brand Director, he also shaped Oreo’s long-term growth strategy across markets.


In his current role as CMO, Nitin is responsible for P&L delivery across all categories, stewardship of the entire brand portfolio, and leadership of key verticals, including Insights & Analytics, Media, Digital, Innovation, Equity, and Activation. He drives Mondelēz India’s consolidated snacking strategy, aligned with the company’s philosophy of “Local first, but not local only”.
