V. Sunil


V Sunil's creative journey can be summarized from the slogan "Made for India" to "Make in India". After working for some of India's top advertising agencies including O&M, McCann Erickson, and Contract, Sunil started his own agency called 'A' in 2004.


With high-profile clients like Incredible India, IndiGo, and Nokia, 'A' became one of India's most successful independent agencies before merging with Wieden+Kennedy in 2007. As the Executive Creative Director of W+K India, he helped build some of India's strongest and most loved brands. One of his notable achievements was reinventing the low-fare airline model, enhancing the customer experience for IndiGo, India's largest low-fare carrier.


In response to a government brief in 2014, Sunil created the Make in India brand, which quickly became a global movement. He eventually moved to a Directorial role at W+K in 2015 to establish Motherland Joint Ventures Pvt. Ltd., and launched W+K Exp, an art gallery that made art more accessible. Throughout his career, Sunil has made significant contributions to the advertising industry and beyond.
