Pirra


Pirra is a production designer with over two decades of experience creating imaginative and visually captivating worlds for feature films and global commercial campaigns.

Based in Barcelona, Pirra holds a fine arts degree and a master’s in Theatre Stage Design. Since 2008, he has shared his expertise as a lecturer for the Masters in Art Direction Communication. In his own studio, he explores analogue photography and personal creative projects, continuing to innovate and push boundaries in his field.

His expertise has earned him numerous accolades, including the Gold Lion at Cannes 2014 for his work on Honda Illusions, as well as recognition from prestigious organizations like the British Arrows, D&AD, and the British Film Designers Guild. In 2023, he was a finalist for Best Production Design in Commercials for Mr. Malcom for PlayStation.

Pirra’s portfolio spans collaborations with leading brands like Swarovski, PlayStation, Canal+, Kronenbourg, Gillette, and Rexona. His work has been consistently recognized at Cannes Lions, Ciclope Awards, and AICP, among others. Beyond his impressive list of credits, Pirra has worked alongside celebrated directors such as Anthony Atanasio, Joachim Back, Rupert Sanders, and David LaChapelle, partnering with top production companies like MJZ, Blink Productions, and Radical Media.
