Josh Borrill has built a global reputation as one of today’s most distinctive colorists, celebrated for his ability to fuse technical mastery with the emotive qualities of cinematic film. Based in Milan, Italy, and working seamlessly with clients worldwide—both on-site and remotely—Josh has collaborated with top-tier directors and some of the most recognized brands across continents.

With over a decade of experience in colour and film emulation, Josh’s work is grounded in both science and artistry. He has a unique talent for translating creative vision into compelling imagery, whether it’s a commercial, an evocative feature film, or a brand-defining campaign. In India, his grading work includes Berger Paints (ft. Kareena Kapoor), R.K. Marble Pvt. Ltd. (ft. Anushka Sharma), and Nescafe aamong others.

Josh’s achievements are underscored by international recognition: Best Commercial Colour - Dehancer Film Awards 2025, Best Feature Film Colour – Dehancer Film Awards 2024, and Best Commercial Colour – Dehancer Film Awards 2023. Also, honoured at the ICG Colorist Awards for excellence in commercial colour.
