Joe Sciarrotta is the Deputy Chief Creative Officer at Ogilvy USA, where he helps lead the agency’s creative output across its global network. Since joining Ogilvy in 2000, he has played a key role in driving both creative excellence and business growth, contributing to the network’s continued recognition as one of the world’s most awarded agency groups.
He began his career in advertising and went on to build a strong reputation as a creative leader, eventually joining Ogilvy as Managing Director and Chief Creative Officer of its Chicago office. Over the years, he progressed through key leadership roles, including Co-Chief Creative Officer of Ogilvy USA, before being appointed Global Deputy Chief Creative Officer in 2018. He studied at the Center for Creative Studies.
Sciarrotta’s work has earned widespread industry recognition. He was ranked the seventh most awarded Chief Creative Officer globally in The Drum Report’s 2018 rankings, and has been named to Adweek’s Creative All-Star team twice, as well as Crain’s “40 Under 40” list. He has served on Ogilvy’s Worldwide Creative Council since 2003. His work has won numerous Cannes Lions, One Show Pencils, Clios, Communication Arts, London International Awards, and D&AD Awards, and he was part of the creative team behind the 2006 Grand EFFIE-winning Dove ‘Campaign for Real Beauty.’
He has also served on several major industry juries, including D&AD and the LIA Awards, contributing to the global creative discourse.
