As an architecture and spatial photographer, Ishi's work has been featured in publications such as Archdaily, Yellowtrace, Domus Web, Dezeen, Architecture Digest, Elle Decor, Beautiful Homes, and Better Interiors.
Despite having studied architecture at esteemed institutions such as SCET, Surat for her Bachelors of Architecture and Cornell University for her Masters in Architecture, Ishita Sitwala made a significant career change within three years of practicing architecture.
Her passion for photography, particularly for capturing buildings, started to bloom early on while studying architecture. She explored the basics of photography through Lomography and documented buildings extensively during her time in Chicago.
However, it was love that ultimately inspired her to take a different path in life.
Her first break in photography came through some college friends who hired her to document their projects. Her keen eye for detail and dedication quickly led to more opportunities and publications.
