Currently having left any agency, Bobby Pawar is the former Chairman Chief Creative Officer at Havas Group.


After graduating from St. Xavier's College, Bobby started his career in 1995, as a creative director (Mumbai) at Ogilvy, India. In 2000, he moved to Ogilvy New York as the Senior Partner and creative director. Shortly after, he served as the group creative director at Energy BBDO (Chicago). In 2007, he joined DDB Mudra Group as the Chief Creative Officer, and until 2023, served the same role at agencies like JWT, Publicis Worldwide, and Havas Group. Since 2024, Bobby has also parallely served as a creative consultant to Network18's branded content unit.


With a career spanning three decades, across both the Indian and international advertising landscapes. Bobby is a two-time 'Copywriter of the Year' and recipient of over 400 local and international awards, He has consistently pushed the boundaries of creativity and effectiveness—earning him titles such as IAA India’s Creative Agency Leader of the Year (2021), and Campaign Asia’s Creative Person of the Year for South Asia (2011).


Across his career, Bobby has worked with brands like AT&T Wireless, American Express, Garnier, IBM, Jaguar, KitKat, Maggi, Microsoft, Motorola, Nescafé, Nokia, Pepsi, Philips, Vicks, Volkswagen, and Wrigley’s. Among his other notable work is also 'Silent National Anthem', a Cannes Lion winner. During his time, outside India, his work reached the global stage—one of his films aired during the Super Bowl, was showcased at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), and even earned an Emmy nomination.


Respected as both a creative visionary and an inspiring leader, Bobby's body of work continues to shape the future of advertising, cementing his place in the Indian advertising landscape even after his withdrawal.
