Amer Jaleel


Amer Jaleel currently serves as the Chairman and Group Chief Creative Officer at MullenLowe Lintas Group. He started his career with Bates (then Clarion) in 1994, where he worked on brands such as Essar, Minolta, and ITC. It was during his early days as a junior that he created the famous "positive attitude" campaign. Later in 1999, he joined Mudra Advertising and worked on campaigns for McDonald's, Kinetic Auto, and Indian Oil.


In 2002, he joined Lowe Lintas as a Creative Director and eventually became the National Creative Director. Amer has played a key role in the success of some of the agency's most iconic brands. He was the global creative lead for Unilever's Lifebuoy business, contributing significantly to the brand's success in India and around the world. He also built billion-dollar businesses from scratch for brands like Micromax and Havells, and led the journey for Tata Tea's "Jaago Re" movement.


Throughout his career, Amer has worked on several other notable campaigns for brands such as Google, OLX, Maruti Suzuki, ICICI Prudential, and Bajaj. One of his recent initiatives, the Lifebuoy campaign "Help a Child Reach 5," was named among the most effective campaigns in the world in 2015 (WARC 100).
