Tescia Deák

Tescia is an idea-driven award-winning Creative Director and values-driven leader. Over her career, she has made TikTok Period Dramas, helped launch a Pineapple-based vegan leather to reduce waste, an OOH print campaign on NYC’s trash, created a tool for more equitable, unbiased search results, introduced the very first Coverboy to the world, designed rugs for CB2, an illustrated children’s book to help fight anti-LGBTQ legislation, and directed 06-second films that debuted at Sundance Film Festival.


She has creatively led 360˚ campaigns across brands like Google, YouTube, Dole, YouTubeTV, WNBA, FitBit, Pantene, Downy, FitBit, WD, Amazon NFL Next Gen, Discover Card, CashApp, Hasbro, Gilette Venus, and Covergirl. Her work has been recognized with over 100 international awards across Cannes Lions, One Show, ADC, Clios, and D&AD. In 2023 she earned #12 in The Drum’s Global Rankings; in 2022, she earned a spot on D&AD’s Top 10 Creative Director list, The One Club’s Top 3 Global Rankings and Cannes Lions See It Be It.


Tescia's creative background runs deep. She grew up in a family that worked in television and radio. She spent her childhood performing in musical theater and spent her college years working as a make-up artist.


In her spare time, she works on projects that support a more equitable world, including an ongoing volunteer role with PERIOD.org to advocate and fundraise for menstrual equity. In 2021 she co-created Mentorship Matchmaking with Laurel Stark connecting 400 women and non-binary ad folks globally, which has been used as inspiration for many other DE&I groups since.
