Tejal is a known advertising, fashion and portrait photographer, who epitomises futuristic themes in his work.

Based in Dubai, he employs stunningly vibrant colour palettes and contemporary digital settings, blending elements of Neo-Tokyo with otherworldly landscapes. Tejal infuses drama, theatricality and beauty into every capture—evident in his acclaimed Splash calendars, recognised among the world's finest.

Hailing from Bombay, he is a graduate of Sir JJ Institute of Applied Arts art school. Early in his career, he had the privilege of collaborating with influential creative minds during his time at art school. What caught attention wasn't his mastery of lighting techniques, but rather his instinctual ability to capture visually appealing scenes. He pushed the limits of black and white film, often shooting at high ISOs like 3,200 to 6,400 ASA, photographing friends posing as models under the illumination of railway station (Mercury) lamps. Through relentless experimentation with these lamps, he honed his skills in capturing high-contrast images, a style that still resonates in his work today.

Drawing inspiration from life, cinema and literature, Tejal continuously enriches his artistic vision. He particularly relishes the opportunity when Art Directors present him with their briefs in the form of illustrations or sketches, as it offers a raw, skeletal depiction of their vision, compelling him to approach each project from scratch.

In the commercial realm, his repertoire boats work like Zoya, Wrogn ft. Virat Kohli, CNBC ‘Hello Dreamers’, Fossil ft. Shruti Haasan & Varun Dhawan, I Am Light ft. Deepika Padukone and Arrow ft. Hrithik Roshan.

Tejal orchestrated an immersive art exhibition called “Vichitra”, at Snowball Studios, which was a massive success.
