Tarvinderjit Singh is currently the Senior Executive Creative Director at Cheil India, bringing over 21 years of experience in advertising, nine of them as an Executive Creative Director. Over the course of his career, he has worked with some of India’s most renowned agencies including Ogilvy, McCann, Leo Burnett, Grey Worldwide, Y&R, Bates CHI & Partners, Contract India, and Famous Innovations.
He is best known for the groundbreaking “Samsung – Service Van” commercial, which became the most-watched advertisement on YouTube in 2017, accumulating over 150 million views and becoming a cultural moment in Indian advertising.
Beyond the acclaimed Samsung campaign, his portfolio includes emotionally impactful work such as “Samsung Technical School – Seema Nagar”, UNICEF’s “Ye Dosti”, Basanti, Bottles, and “Delhi Police – Tears”, each underscoring his talent for blending cultural relevance with emotional resonance.
Tarvinder’s work has earned accolades from an array of prestigious award juries. His campaigns have been recognized at Cannes Lions, D&AD Impact, The One Show, Epica, Spikes Asia, Adfest, Tambuli, Ad Stars, and Kyoorius, including multiple Grand Prix and recurring mentions in “top creatives in India” rankings.
In June 2023, Tarvinder returned to Cheil India as Senior Executive Creative Director, tasked with shaping creative output for Samsung India—bringing his journey full circle to the agency where his landmark campaign began.
