Soumya Shiva Nagabhushan is a highly accomplished Senior Creative Director at Ogilvy India and is regarded as one of the most skilled creatives in the industry. Recognized for his minimalist aesthetic and strong craft, he made history as the recipient of India’s first-ever D&AD Black Pencil, cementing his legacy in design excellence.


His landmark campaigns include "The Immunity Charm" for the Ministry of Public Health, Afghanistan. As Creative Director, Soumya led this culturally impactful campaign—turning an immunization record into a wearable charm rooted in Afghan tradition. The charm served as both a protective talisman and a health reminder, forging deep emotional connection and engaging communities in the immunization drive.


Awards & Accolades earned were Gold Pencil – One Show Design & Intellectual Property (2018), Silver Pencil – One Show (Design), Silver Cube – ADC Awards (Product Design), Grand Prix for Good – Cannes Lions (Pharma category), Grand CLIO – Product Design, and D&AD Black Pencil – First ever awarded to an Indian campaign.


He is consistently named among India’s most awarded creatives, ranked #3 in 2020, #2 in 2018, and #13 in Asia, as per Campaign Brief Asia Creative Rankings.
