Solve Sundsbo

Sølve Sundsbø is a fashion photographer and filmmaker originally from Norway and currently based in London, widely respected for his imaginative concepts, versatile style, and willingness to embrace new technologies in his work, including 3-D scanning and hand-painted retouching.


His photography has appeared in esteemed publications such as Italian Vogue, Perfect, Love, V Magazine, i-D, L’Uomo Vogue, and Vogue Hommes International. Sundsbø's captivating work has been showcased in numerous exhibitions, ranging from group shows to solo presentations, including the Vogue Photo Festival's "Beyond the Still Image" exhibition at Palazzo Reale in Milan in 2018.


Sundsbø has produced stills and moving image for major fashion and beauty brands including Chanel, Armani, Cartier, Mugler, Gucci, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, and Guerlain, among others.


Notably, his piece titled "14 Actors Acting" for The New York Times earned him an Emmy Award in the category of New Approaches to News and Documentary Programming. In partnership with W Magazine, he created and exhibited an expansive installation of his film "The Ever Changing Face of Beauty," a visionary and ethereal work that seamlessly merges natural and technologically enhanced elements of Sundsbø's filmmaking. His photography of the Alexander McQueen archive for the catalogue of the renowned "Savage Beauty" retrospective at The Metropolitan Museum received widespread acclaim.


Sundsbø's artwork has been featured in auctions by Phillips De Pury, and he is honored to have his work included in the permanent collection of the National Portrait Gallery in London.
