Founded in 2001, Nirvana Films is an ad film production company founded by Executive Producer Sneha Iype and Director Prakash Varma.

With a passion for storytelling and craft, Nirvana approaches each film with creative excitement and depth, bringing their rich experience to redefine how advertising can be imagined, and executed. They believe in the power of collaboration, and how creative expression, when nurtured in the right environment, can lead to work that’s both powerful and magical.

At the Good Ads Matter Awards 2025, Nirvana Films was recognised with the Young Director of the Year (Under 30) award for in-house director Swaroop Kumar for Red Taxi. Their film British Airways – Your Family in the Skies also won Silver for Direction – Narrative (TV/Cinema) in the Film Craft category.

At the Good Ads Matter Awards 2026, productions by Nirvana Films received recognition across the Creative and Film Craft categories. Vinsmera – Truly Irresistible won Gold for Direction (Narrative) and Silver for Best Performance – Male. Ramco – Hard Worker earned Bronze for Direction (Narrative) and Direction (Humour), Silver for Best Campaign of the Year, Bronze for Cinematography (Narrative), and Silver for Editing (Narrative). Ather Energy – Ather won Gold for Best Campaign of the Year, while Google Pay – Sab Tick Hai received Gold for Young Director of the Year (Under 30). Additional honours included Silver for Sound Design for Bajaj Chetak – Fully Lifeproof, and Bronze awards for Meta – Nambuvar Vallvaar in Original Music Composition and Editing (Narrative).

Nirvana Films is behind some of India’s most iconic advertising work, including Vodafone ZooZoos, Titan The Joy of Giving, Cadbury Umbrella, and campaigns for Incredible India, Kerala Tourism, and Bengal Tourism. Other notable work includes Wreckshaw for Apple iPhone, Your Family in the Skies for British Airways, Dorset, Netflix x WWE, Shruthi – Springboard, and Vinsmêra Jewels ft. Mohanlal and Director Prakash Varma himself.

Over the years, they have nurtured long-standing brand relationships with Vodafone, Taj Mahal Tea, Bisleri, Titan, Cadbury, India Tourism, KitKat, Meesho, and Myntra among many others.
