Jessica Sadana

Jessica Sadana is a filmmaker and commercial director whose work spans advertising, fiction, documentaries and digital content. Known for her lyrical visual style and character-driven storytelling, she creates films that blend emotional authenticity with striking visual composition.

A graduate of Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University, Jessica studied Film Direction and Screenwriting at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, and was among the first Indian students selected for the Erasmus exchange programme at FAMU in Prague. She also represented India at the Berlinale Talents programme in 2015. Her documentary and fiction work has screened at international festivals including the Berlinale, Hot Docs Canada, the Asia Pacific Screen Awards and the Bangkok International Film Festival.

Alongside her independent filmmaking, Jessica has directed advertising campaigns across beauty, fashion and lifestyle. Some of her notable works include Dove's Reclaim Your Curls featuring Taapsee Pannu, Colgate Visible White, Bumble's Otterly Love, Vaseline's Parde Mein, and campaigns for Lakmé, Sunsilk, Ponds and Purplle.

Her commercial work is recognised for its refined visual language, with a focus on beauty, fashion and lifestyle storytelling. She also directed the web series Adulting, bringing her cinematic sensibility to long-form digital storytelling.

At the Good Ads Matter Awards 2026, Jessica received a Silver for her Dove campaign, Reclaim Your Curls, featuring Taapsee Pannu.

Across formats, Jessica's work is characterised by an intuitive understanding of performance, atmosphere and visual detail. Whether directing commercials, series or independent films, she approaches each project with a focus on crafting stories that are both visually engaging and emotionally resonant.
