In 2002, Freyja relocated to Los Angeles, where she embarked on her career as a set designer and production designer. Her work has spanned various artistic realms, including art films, music videos, and experiential installation art. Notably, she has created pieces for renowned artists such as David Bowie, Beyoncé, and others, showcasing her exceptional talent and artistic vision.
Freyja's journey has taken her to South and Central America, where she taught English as a foreign language while passionately creating art and exploring the world through different perspectives. Combining her experiences in fine art, film-making, and environmental design, she founded her current public practice, Greenmeme.
Her artistic endeavors have also led to commercial collaborations with prominent brands like Apple, Facebook, Estee Lauder, Dior, Emporio Armani - Campaign, Dove, Reebok, and PlayStation, demonstrating her ability to bridge the gap between creativity and commercial projects.
