Founded in 2018, Footloose Films is a production company based in Mumbai, established by Kedhhar Barrve and Surya Balakrishnan.


Known for its vibrant and visually engaging campaigns, Footloose Films has delivered a range of notable advertisements that resonate with audiences through a playful yet meaningful approach.


Their campaign for Zivame, The Museum of Boobs, received several accolades at Good Ads matter Awards 2025, including a Silver in Film Craft – Editing (Narrative, Online), Gold in Casting and Performance (Best Voice-over), Silver in Production Design (Digital & Social), and two Golds in Music and Sound Design (Existing and Adapted Music). It also won a Bronze in the Creative Film category for Best Ad (Online).


Similarly, the Filter Toh Pagal Hai campaign for Urban Company’s Native RO earned multiple awards at Good Ads matter Awards 2025: Silver in Film Craft – Editing (Humour, Online), Silver in Casting and Performance (Best Casting, Female), Bronze in Direction – Humour (entered by agency Manja), and Silver in Creative – Best Ad (Online) (also entered by Manja).


Other standout campaigns include P&G Shiksha’s Teachers’ Day film, Super.money’s GOAT (Sumo), Tata Tea’s iconic Jaago Re, Axis Bank’s Dil Se Open, Vodafone’s Sakhi, and Swiggy’s widely recognised Gulab Jamun Uncle is Back.


Footloose Films has collaborated with a wide range of brands, including Super.money, Vodafone, Zivame, Sony, Standard Chartered, Swiggy, and Hotstar.
