Bruno Bisang, born in 1952, spent much of his formative years in Ascona, a charming town in the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland. At the age of 19, he enrolled at the School of Applied Arts for Photography in Zurich and subsequently completed a photographic apprenticeship. Since 1979, Bisang has pursued a successful career as a freelance photographer, initially based in Zurich and later spending periods in Milan and Munich. Currently, he works between Milan, New York, Zurich, and Paris, catering to a prestigious clientele.
Throughout his career, Bisang has worked with numerous renowned magazines, including Air France Madame, Amica, Bolero, C+G, Capital, Cosmopolitan, Femme, GQ, Max, Men's Health, Madame, Madame Figaro, L'Officiel, Photo, Soon, Sport Magazine, Victim, Vital, Vogue German, Vogue Gioiello, and Vogue Hommes.
In addition to editorial work, Bisang has collaborated with esteemed advertising clients such as Avon, Azzaro, Bacirubati, Breil, Cacharel, Cartiere del Garda, Chanel, Chaumet, Chiardiluna, Chopard, Don Gil, Douglas - Condé Nast, Ebel, Ferrarelle, Ford, and Givenchy.
