Bann Chakraborty is a versatile music composer and producer with over a decade of experience in the music industry.
Known for blending commercial appeal with creative depth, he has composed for prominent brands such as Cadbury, Colgate, Britannia, and the iconic TATA Tea “Jaago Re” campaign.
Bann’s work extends to feature films, notably scoring the background music and composing songs “Talli” and “Keh Do Ke” for the Netflix original Plan A Plan B (2022), directed by Shashanka Ghosh, with “Talli” featuring vocals by Bann alongside Sunidhi Chauhan.
In 2022, Bann served as a producer for the Nexa Music Project, curated by A.R. Rahman, mentoring top participants and producing tracks for Season 2. Prior to this, he founded Orange Street, an influential band active from 1996–2007, which performed internationally at festivals like Nottingham (UK), Slotsfjell (Norway), and Peace & Love (Sweden), helping pioneer India’s indie music movement.
In 2022 alone, his music accumulated 729.4k Spotify streams across 122 countries, reflecting his global reach and appeal.
