Based in Gurugram

Anusheela Saha has recently been appointed as Creative Head at DDB Tribal, part of the DDB Mudra Group, where she now leads the creative vision for the agency’s Gurugram office and reports to Chief Creative Officer Rahul Mathew.
With over 20 years of experience, Anusheela previously served as National Creative Director and Head of Design at FCB India, and has held key creative roles at Cheil India. She co-led creative strategy and was instrumental in elevating agency design capabilities at FCB India, working across brands like Horlicks, Uber, Bata, and Royal Stag.
Her work spans both commercial and social domains, crafting campaign touchpoints for giants such as Samsung, Google, Uber, Mahindra Auto, Unilever, KFC, UN AIDS, and Times of India. She has also led meaningful campaigns such as “UnBox Me”, which addressed gender identity in children and sparked meaningful conversations. Another standout initiative is her solar-powered school bag—designed to provide light during power cuts in underprivileged regions—debuted as one of India’s top frugal innovations.
Anusheela’s work has been consistently recognized across industry stalwarts, including Cannes Lions, D&AD, One Show, Clio Awards, Spikes Asia, and Kyoorius, cementing her reputation for powerful, craft-driven creativity. She was also part of India’s first Fusion Pencil win at the One Show 2022 for the “The Nominate Me Selfie” campaign—a bold message on gender representation in politics.
Outside the agency realm, Anusheela dedicates herself to inclusive storytelling through children’s literacy and environmental education. She is an enthusiastic terrarium designer and maintains a curated collection of art by women and queer artists, which reflects her commitment to inclusive visual culture.
