Akshat Gupt is the Director, Co-Founder & CCO at Kulfi Collective, a modern creative company he founded in 2020, alongside his brother, Advait Gupt.

Akshat has been passionate about storytelling since childhood, beginning as the star performer at family gatherings and later channeling his creativity into filmmaking during college. His journey took a pivotal turn in 2011 after a transformative summer at Prague Film School, which led to his work being showcased at the Cannes Film Festival.

At 22, Akshat co-founded Supari Studios with his brother, Advait, using the internet as a medium to tell impactful stories for brands. A self-taught editor and director, he expanded this vision into building three ventures—Supari Studios, Post Office, and Keeda Media—before co-founding Kulfi Collective, where he now serves as Chief Creative Officer.

A collective in the truest sense, Kulfi is now a full-stack network that integrates creativity, insight and technology to tell stories the new-age audiences can relate to—their content being aimed primarily at the GenY and GenZ demographic.

Over the past decade, Akshat has directed and creatively led more than 300 branded and original projects. Some of them include Crocs Monsoon ft. Siddhant Chaturvedi and Chae Soo-bin, Spotify Valentine's Day Campaign ft. Khushi Kapoor, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Jackie Shroff and Orry, and Spotify Wrapped ft. Jackie Shroff and Ananya Panday, as well as Red Bull 'Riders in the Cloud'. His clientele also includes brands like Nothing, Netflix, Air India, Audible, CoinDCX, Estée Lauder, etc.

Recently, at the Good Ads Matter Awards, India '25, Kulfi Collective bagged a gold and a silver for Spotify Wrapped 'How to Get Over Your Ex', and another silver for Spotify India 'Celebrating Kuyil Chithra'. Akshat himself also served as a juror at the Good Ads Matter Awards (on principle abstaining to judge or influence the scores of his own work).

Apart from commercial work, Akshat is behind the 60-minute documentary on the rise of rapper Divine and the Webby Award–winning series Dopplegangers, which draws parallels between India’s traditional sports and their modern counterparts.

Recognised as one of Forbes Asia’s 30 Under 30 in 2016, Akshat is among the youngest Indian creators to win a Webby Award. As the creative force behind Kulfi Collective, he continues to push the boundaries of imagination—his own and that of his collaborators—to shape the future of content and tell stories that capture the passions of young India.
