Abhijit Sudhakar is a director and Co-Founder of ZigZag Films, a Mumbai-based advertising production company. Known for his humour-led, culturally observant storytelling, he creates commercial films that blend relatable characters with sharp writing and engaging visual narratives.
An engineer by training, Abhijit has also occasionally appeared in front of the camera in commercials, an experience that informs his collaborative approach to directing performances.
Over the years, he has directed more than 100 commercials across a wide range of categories. His notable work includes Flipkart – Jet Ski, RimZim Jeera – Jeere Mein Heera, Flipkart – Skydiving, Sprite – Sprite Ka Tadka, the long-running PhonePe series featuring Aamir Khan, Khatabook featuring M.S. Dhoni, MakeMyTrip featuring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, Meesho – Supermarket and Jacuzzi, Swiggy – Gulab Jamun Uncle, Samsung S54, Myntra, and Slice Cards – Cheetah & Hippo, Horse & Snail, Rabbit & Walrus, among others.
Over the years, he has collaborated with brands including Flipkart, Swiggy, Tata, Cadbury, Blue Star, Meesho, Axe, Britannia, Myntra, PhonePe, and Idea, bringing together humour, strong performances, and culturally resonant storytelling.
