Walter Cavatoi is an Italian colorist with more than 12 years of experience in enhancing visual storytelling across a diverse array of formats—including feature films, documentaries, TV series, and commercials.

Starting his career in the early 2000s, Walter initially freelanced across post-production facilities and eventually launched his own studio. His global journey led him to the Middle East in 2014, where he not only contributed significantly to the TV industry but also helped establish color grading units and mentor emerging teams.

Walter’s international reach spans over 15 countries. He maintains state-of-the-art DCI-grade suites in Rome, Bologna, Doha, and Chennai, allowing him to extend both in-person and remote grading services. He is also a member of the Colorist Society International (CSI), connecting him with the global colorist community.

In addition to his creative work, Walter serves as a lecturer at ATAFOM University, where he emphasizes storytelling through stylistic and technical harmony in color grading.
