Tuhin Mukherjee is a cinematographer whose work spans advertising, branded content, music videos, documentaries and narrative films. Known for his naturalistic visual style and story-led approach, he creates imagery that balances cinematic atmosphere with emotional authenticity.


After graduating in Mass Media from Jai Hind College, Mumbai, Tuhin began his career in the camera department in 2014 before transitioning to cinematography in 2015. Since then, he has worked across commercial and independent productions, collaborating with directors to craft visuals rooted in light, mood and performance. His work reflects a versatile visual language that moves seamlessly between advertising and long-form storytelling.


His commercial portfolio includes campaigns such as AirAsia, Big Cash featuring Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Swiggy Dineout, Sunfeast Yippee! featuring Jasprit Bumrah, among others. Alongside his advertising work, Tuhin has served as cinematographer on projects including Vir Das: For India, The Yellow Diary – Sheher, The Yellow Diary – Yun Hi Kahin, Take 2, Match., and Rawas (Indian Salmon). Earlier in his career, he also worked in the camera department on Sachin: A Billion Dreams and Little Things, and later shot a documentary series for Netflix, reflecting a practice that spans both commercial and long-form storytelling.


Comfortable across a range of filmmaking formats and camera systems, Tuhin continues to bring a thoughtful, story-first approach to both commercial and narrative filmmaking.
