Both Avishek and Prosit hail from Kolkata, a city with a rich cinematic legacy. Their shared background informs a filmmaking approach rooted in character, authenticity and visual storytelling, influences that continue to shape the company's creative philosophy.
Since its inception, The Unicorn Films has collaborated with agencies, brands and filmmakers across FMCG, retail, technology and entertainment. Its portfolio includes campaigns such as Goel TMT – Band Baaja Bitiya, Mother Dairy – Aai Jaisi Mumbai, Coca-Cola – Laal Paar, and campaigns for IPL 2026, among others.
At the Good Ads Matter Awards 2026, productions by The Unicorn Films won over 15 metals, including the inaugural Piyush Pandey Polaris Award for Goel TMT – Band Baaja Bitiya. The company's work has also been recognised at Goafest and the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2026, reflecting its growing body of award-winning commercial work.
