Taras began his journey capturing food and cars, but it was during his early years in Mumbai—working closely with fashion magazines for over five years—that his passion for photographing people took shape. Today, his portfolio spans across varied genres, blending clean aesthetics with a natural ease in working with talent.
With a career rooted in experimentation—from cosmetics and automobile photography to food and street—Taras brings a distinctive versatility and polish to every frame. His deep understanding of light, form, and composition allows him to translate personality and product alike with visual clarity.
He has shot for leading publications including Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Grazia, Elle, and more, and has worked with a wide array of celebrities such as Anushka Sharma, Ananya Panday, Smriti Mandhana, Kriti Sanon, and Ranveer Singh.
He is also the co-founder of The Image Community, an innovative online and offline platform created with fellow photographer Anai Bharucha. The space serves as a creative hub, providing opportunities, education, and resources for visual storytellers and photography enthusiasts alike.
Taras runs his own photo studio in Mumbai called Studio84, a dedicated space that supports his wide-ranging commercial and editorial projects.
