Swaraj Sriwastav is a cinematographer whose work spans advertising, branded content, documentaries and narrative films. Known for his naturalistic visual approach and story-first cinematography, he creates images that balance authenticity with a contemporary cinematic aesthetic.


Working across commercial and independent productions, Swaraj collaborates with directors and brands to create films that place equal emphasis on lighting, composition and visual clarity. His portfolio includes campaigns such as SleepyCat – Beauty Is Pain, Meta × Himesh Reshammiya, Mars Beauty – Classroom, Newgen – Ahead of What's Tomorrow, Paraloka by Bhavya Ramesh, Khadi × FDCI, TVS Raider, Coca-Cola – Half Time featuring Diljit Dosanjh, 2East Skincare MAN featuring Deepika Padukone, Flipkart – Mani, De Beers – Besties Bracelet, and Truecaller × Sheeba Chaddha, among others.


At the Good Ads Matter Awards 2026, Swaraj's cinematography for SleepyCat – Beauty Is Pain and Meta × Himesh Reshammiya received multiple metals across the Film Craft categories.


Alongside his commercial work, Swaraj has served as Second Unit Cinematographer on The Family Man and worked on projects including Bhagwat Chapter One: Raakshas. His portfolio also includes short films and music videos such as Goodbye, Hello and Walk Away, reflecting a practice that spans both commercial and narrative filmmaking.
