Swapnil gained widespread recognition for his contributions to Sacred Games, which was India's first Netflix Original series.
He began his career with director Pan Nalin's documentary Faith Connection and later worked independently on popular documentary shows like Dewarists, Sound Trippin, and television commercials for brands such as Vodafone and Flipkart.
Swapnil has also worked on critically acclaimed feature films such as Angry Indian Goddesses, Zubaan, and Newton, which was India's official selection for the 2018 Oscars. He received a National Award for Best Film for National Integration for his Marathi feature film, Dhappa, directed by Nipun Dharmadhikari. Swapnil's recent projects Last Film Show, which is also an official selection for the 2023 Oscars.
He has collaborated with Vasan Bala on Monica O My Darling, a comedy crime drama feature starring Rajkumar Rao, Radhika Apte, and Huma Qureshi, and with director Harshavardhan Kulkarni for film Badhaai, AK vs AK, and the Netflix Anthology Ray.
Swapnil has showcased his cinematographic expertise in commercials for renowned brands such as Cred, Swiggy, Myntra BFF, Lenskart, Indeed, Lays 'Sizzling Hot', Sting Blue and more.
