Sukesh Nayak is the Chief Creative Officer at Ogilvy—India's largest and most awarded integrated communications agency.
Shortly after graduating in Economics from St. Xavier's College, Sukesh joined Ogilvy in 2000, where he continues to serve over two decades later. Over the course of the years, he has worked with brands like Tata Sky, Asian Paints, Bajaj, JSW Steel, Fortune Oil, Google, Economist, Indian Railways, Mattel, Fox Crime, Unilever, Wildstone, IAPA Adoption Awareness, and the ICC Cricket World Cup.
Sukesh's storytelling is not just limited to insight and cultural relevance, but holds the power to penetrate markets and human sentiments alike. Be it humour, emotional, beauty or FMCG, he has an idea for each brand that embodies its vision.
Among his most defining work are Cadbury 'Not Just a Cadbury Ad', 'Unity Bar' and #HeartTheHate, UNEP Masaba #IWillWearOutPlastic, Hamam Waterproof Sarees, 5 Star 'Do Nothing Mode', Castrol 'TruckAsana', Seagram 'The Legacy Project', and DNA Fights Rape—campaigns he sees as the blueprint for meaningful, engaging storytelling.
At the Good Ads Matter Awards, India '25, his work for Adani Group, 'Pehle Pankha Aayega, Phir Bijli Aayegi' won four Golds and a silver, and his his work for Cadbury, 'New Neighbour' won another two golds and a silver.
With over 300 national and international awards to his name—including Cannes Lions, D&AD, One Show, Spikes Asia, and London International Awards—Sukesh’s accolades are many. Yet, the recognition he cherishes most is a heartfelt call from his father after his celebrated Google 'Reunion' film went viral. True to Ogilvy’s spirit, Sukesh embodies creativity with passion, authenticity, and heart.
Sukesh was featured in Campaign Asia’s 40 Under 40 list in 2015.
