Sudeep Chatterjee ISC, a graduate of the Film and Television Institute of India (Pune), is a highly regarded cinematographer in both film and advertising.

Over a career spanning more than two decades, he has contributed to a range of visually acclaimed films. These include Chak De! India (2007), Guzaarish (2010), Dhoom 3 (2013), Chotushkone (2014), Bajirao Mastani (2015), Padmaavat (2018), Gangubai Kathiawadi (2022), and the Netflix series Heeramandi (2024). He has been honoured with two National Film Awards, for Chotushkone and Bajirao Mastani.

In the advertising sphere, Sudeep has become a sought-after name for his refined visual storytelling. He was appointed as a Canon Cinema EOS Ambassador, an affirmation of his proficiency with cinematic technology and his industry leadership.

Sudeep is known for his versatile and inventive aesthetic, from the opulent visuals of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period dramas to the kinetic, handheld approach of Chak De! India.
