Subrat Ray is the Co-founder and Executive Producer at Code Red Films, a production house he established in 2003 alongside actor-director Gajraj Rao.
Originally a practising Chartered Accountant, Subrat followed his passion for cinema, transitioning into filmmaking and building a production company known for its creative storytelling.
Some of Code Red Films’ most recognised work includes Eye Bank Association of India’s Hostel Holi, the evocative National Anthem film, Glycodin Cough Syrup campaigns, and Kraft Heinz’s Housewife and Britannia’s Har Pocket Ab Dustbin.
Over the years, Subrat has collaborated with brands such as Flipkart, WhatsApp, Times of India, Sony Entertainment Television, HDFC Life, Procter & Gamble, and Hindustan Unilever. His work has earned accolades at national and international platforms, including Cannes, Promax Singapore, The Cup, and the New York Festivals.
