Studio Eeksaurus is a Mumbai-based design-led film production company founded by Suresh Eriyat and Nilima Eriyat in 2009. Specialising in animation, live action, branded content and original storytelling, the studio combines design thinking with cinematic craft across advertising, short films and entertainment.


Prior to founding Studio Eeksaurus, Suresh Eriyat spent over a decade building and leading Famous House of Animation in partnership with Famous Studios. Established in 2009, Studio Eeksaurus was created as a multidisciplinary creative studio focused on design thinking, content development and the production of advertising films, short films and feature films.


Working across 2D and 3D animation, stop-motion, mixed media and live action, Studio Eeksaurus collaborates with agencies, brands and filmmakers to create distinctive visual narratives. Its portfolio includes campaigns such as Centre of Pastoralism – Desi Oon, Pune Design Festival '24 – Opening Film, Rajasthan Tourism – Logo Reveal, Paytm T20 – Yahan Haarna Mana Hai, JSW Steel – Always Around, and Google Chrome – Tanjore, among others.


Over the years, the studio has collaborated with brands including Google, Cadbury, Audi, Samsung, Cartoon Network, UNICEF, MTV, ITC Limited and the Indian Premier League.


Studio Eeksaurus has received recognition at leading international and Indian award platforms, including Annecy, Cannes Lions, D&AD, Clio, Spikes Asia, and the Good Ads Matter Awards. At the Good Ads Matter Awards 2025, the studio won Gold for Best Animation Film and Best Animation + CGI-Integrated Advertising. It continued its success in 2026, with Pune Design Festival 2026 – India Lens receiving Silver for Best Animation Film, reaffirming the studio's excellence in animation-led storytelling.


It is also the first Indian animation studio to receive the Annecy Cristal Award, reflecting its contribution to animation and design-led storytelling.
