Shikha Gupta is an independent creative director and writer, with an industry experience of almost two decades.
Shikha started her career in 2006, as a features writer at The Hindu, and continued working as a writer thereafter for the likes of Vijay Times and Grey Worldwide. In the first decade of her journey, she worked with various advertising agencies like Rediffusion Y&R, Ideas@Work, Thinxworks and Rezonant Design, in the capacities of a creative and writer.
The second half of her career is marked with a strong positioning that she has made for herself among brands. She has worked with the likes of Urban Ladder, Swiggy, Slice, and Blissclub, as a creative director—establishing a distinct face and voice for each.
Now working independently, Shikha is the mind behind projects like Super.Money 'The Meh Film', SleepyCat 'Slap Facial', and Swiggy 'What's in a Name?'. Her work for Zivame, 'The Museum of Boobs', bagged 2 golds, 2 silvers and a bronze at the Good Ads Matter Awards, India '25—while she herself was on the jury (not judging her own piece of work, neither engaging in any influence as strict guideline).
Shikha's work is sharp, witty, and impactful in the most distinct and unexpected ways, sticking with the target audience long after the film has rolled.
She has been among IMPACT's '50 Most Influential Women' list '20—proving the command and influence her voice holds in the industry.
