Shantanu Moitra, is a renowned Indian score composer, musician, and pianist known for his exceptional contributions to the Hindi film industry.


His notable scores include films like “Parineeta” (2005), “Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi”, “Lage Raho Munnabhai”, and “3 Idiots”. Additionally, he has worked on private albums such as "Mann ke Manjeere" and "Ab ke Saawan," featuring vocals by Shubha Mudgal. In 2014, he received the National Film Award for Best Music Direction (Background Score) for “Na Bangaaru Talli.”


Moitra’s journey began as a client servicing executive at an advertising agency, where music was initially a hobby. His accidental entry into composing advertising jingles started with the iconic “Bole mere lips. I love Uncle Chipps” for the chips brand Uncle Chipps, which quickly gained popularity.


He went on to create numerous jingles for Pradeep Sarkar and various advertising brands, showcasing his versatile musical talent.
