Shalini Pillai Banerjee is a seasoned marketing leader with over 20 years of experience spanning technology, B2B, and consumer goods. She currently serves as the Chief Marketing Officer at Pine Labs, where she leads the company’s global marketing strategy, driving growth, brand transformation, and innovation in the fintech space.


Prior to this, Shalini was the Marketing Director for India and South Asia at Microsoft, where she spearheaded growth across key business areas including Azure, Modern Work, and Security, with a strong focus on AI-led solutions.


Before Microsoft, she spent eight impactful years at Google India as Head of Consumer Apps Marketing, driving engagement and adoption across Google’s consumer ecosystem. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles at Coca-Cola, where she built a strong foundation in consumer insights and brand strategy. She also co-founded BrandIdea Consultancy, a SaaS analytics startup, further deepening her expertise in data-driven marketing and business strategy.


An alumna of the Indian School of Business (ISB), Shalini is known for her strategic acumen, innovation-led approach, and ability to build high-performing, inclusive teams. She thrives in fast-paced, transformative environments, seamlessly blending data-driven insights with creative storytelling to deliver impactful business outcomes.
