Satchith Paulose is a cinematographer from Ernakulam, Kerala, and an alumnus of FTII, Pune. Recognised as one of India’s finest shooters of automobile commercials, he is known for bringing a kinetic, polished, and visually striking style to every frame.
In advertising, Satchith’s reel includes work for Thums Up (with Shah Rukh Khan & Vijay Deverakonda), Cadbury Bournville (“Taste so Intense”), Honda City, Budweiser, Škoda Superb, Nivea Milk (ft. Taapsee Pannu), Bhima Jewels, Hyundai, KitKat, Olay’s “Ai-shu”, Ponds Cold Cream – “Dadu”, Kia, Volkswagen, Bajaj Pulsar (N160 & “Riderless”), Whistle with WnK India, Mokobara with Diljit Dosanjh, among many others.
His advertising excellence has been recognised at the Good Ads Matter Awards, where Cadbury Bournville – Don’t Rush It won Silver for Film Craft (Cinematography), and Thums Up – Dum Hai Toh Dikha received honours in VFX & AI/Compositing.
He made a powerful debut in feature films with Pathaan (2023), earning a Filmfare nomination for Best Cinematography for his sweeping visuals across massive set pieces and exotic locations. He followed this with Fighter (2024), where his adrenaline-fuelled aerial sequences pushed the boundaries of mainstream Indian action cinema.
Beyond advertising and feature films, his short film The School Bag (2016) won the Jury Prize for Best Cinematography at the Free Spirit Film Festival and was nominated again at the Fastnet Short Film Festival (2017).
