Santosh Padhi is currently the Founder and Chief Creative Officer at Into Creative, a young creative agency initiated in early 2025.
A graduate from Sir JJ Institute of Applied Arts, Santosh began his career with DDB Mudra before moving to Leo Burnett. In 2009, he co-founded Taproot Dentsu in India, alongside Agnello Dias, and served as the Chief Creative Officer for the next 13 years to follow. Within just three years, Cannes Lions ranked Taproot among the world’s Top 20 independent agencies. Over the years, Taproot—later acquired by Dentsu—produced acclaimed campaigns, including Adidas 'Odds', Airtel 'Har Ek Friend Zaroori Hota Hai', Times of India 'I am Mumbai', and Facebook 'Pooja Didi', which went on to win double D&AD Pencils.
Santosh has also served as the Chief Creative Officer at Wieden+Kennedy India, setting up the agency's Mumbai office, while also leading creative at Delhi. With over 30 years in advertising, his journey reflects an commitment to creativity, innovation, and building strong creative cultures.
Santosh's body of work is known for blending sharp brand messaging with authentic, emotional storytelling that resonates deeply with audiences. This philosophy has earned him over 200 international awards and more than 300 local accolades, including multiple Golds and Grand Prix titles across shows like Cannes Lions, D&AD, One Show, Clio, AdFest, Spikes Asia, London International Awards, and many more. His stature in the industry is further underscored by his frequent roles as a jury member and jury president at leading international award festivals.
