Sameer Uddin is one of the most celebrated and sought-after music composers in India’s advertising industry, known for his evocative jingles and seamless blend of Indian sensibility with contemporary soundscapes.
His journey began with crafting jingles—starting with a Duracell ad and followed by a memorable Honda City commercial for Kaveri Productions, which paved the way for a successful career in both ads and film.
He is especially noted for creating the iconic Samsung Shop commercial, a musical signature that helped define the brand’s identity. His advertising credentials include collaborations with renowned brands such as Asian Paints, Too Yumm!, BGMI, 7Up, and Bajaj Finserv.
Sameer made a notable entry into Bollywood as the background score composer for Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena (2005). His work on Kapoor & Sons earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Background Score in 2017.
