Sajan Raj Kurup is the Founder & Chairman at Creativeland Asia, a collective of specialist creative professionals creating solutions for brands across digital, content, media, films and technology.
Sajan started his career all the way back in 1996 as a Senior Copywriter at DDB Mudra. He then served as a Creative Director for 4 years in agencies like Lowe Lintas and Grey Worldwide before founding Creativeland Asia in 2007, where he has helmed campaigns of brands like Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Godrej Expert, The Indian Express, Amazon, Domino's, Cinthol, and Bblunt.
In 2020, he co-founded Revenant eSports, a gaming team valued at over US$ 30 million. During the pandemic, he launched 'Voffis,' a virtual office SaaS product, forayed into the publishing industry through the acquisition of Mans World India and gained stewardship of the Rolling Stone in India.
Following the founding of Creativeland Asia, Sajan went on to serve as the Managing Director of Fearless Pharma, founded Ventureland Asia, an investment engine, and currently also serves as the Chairman at Creators, a film production and content curation company based in London.
As a creator with an experience of over 20 years in the industry, he has propelled the company beyond conventional advertising and brand management into a multifaceted enterprise encompassing design, brand incubation, licensing, film production, digital media and events. Under his stewardship, Creativeland Asia has become a global creative ecosystem, nurturing successful brands and pioneering tech products.
Some of Creativeland Asia's notable work includes AM/NS 'Reimagineering', Netflix 'Playback 2022', 'Cherrapunji ki Diwali' and 'Ranveer vs. Wild', Godrej Magic Body Wash ft. Shah Rukh Khan, JioSaavn 'Find Your Dhun' and Taj Hotels 'Tajness'.
