Sachin Kamble is currently the Chief Creative Officer at Leo Burnett, South Asia—announced the World's No. 1 Creative Agency by WARC Effective 2025.
After graduating from Sir JJ School of Arts, Sachin starter his career in 2002, as an intern at Publicis Groupe, from which he promptly moved on to Redifussion, as a junior visualiser. In 2003, he started his eight-year-long stint at Ogilvy under various capacities such as visualiser, art director, and associate creative director. This was followed by his stints at DDB Mudra Group as a creative director, and at JWT, as Associate Vice President and Senior Creative Director.
At Leo Burnett, he has now stayed for well over a decade, moulding brands and weaving narratives driven by not only insight but a will demanding positive change. Some of his most notable campaigns include Lay's 'Drops of Joy', Oreo 'History in the Baking', Gatorade 'Turf Finder', which bagged a silver and bronze at the Good Ads Matter Awards, India '25, and Whisper The Missing Chapter, which won the prestigious Grand Prix for Sustainable Development Goals at Cannes Lions.
Sachin embodies a resilient “never give up” spirit that defines both his life and his work. Over the past 17 years, he has immersed himself in the city’s rich cultural diversity, channeling those influences into powerful ideas that have transformed brands and earned global recognition.
Together with his long-time partner Vikram Pandey, Sachin has elevated Leo Burnett India to commendable heights. Under their leadership, the agency has been titled Network Agency of the Year at the Good Ads Matter Awards, India '25, ranked as the #1 Indian agency at Cannes Lions, D&AD, and The One Show for two consecutive years. In 2023, Leo Burnett India was crowned Asia-Pacific Creative Agency of the Year at Spikes, and #2 Asia-Pacific Agency of the Year at the Global Effies—also winning the coveted Grand Effies. The recently published WARC 100 report named Leo Burnett India the #1 creative agency in the world, while the One Show global rankings placed it at #8.
Sachin’s creative philosophy has always been rooted in driving meaningful change for society. A striking example is Bajaj V—a project that turned a decommissioned warship into steel for India’s iconic 'Nation’s Bike'. The campaign became a symbol of pride and patriotism and secured Bajaj its place as the first Indian brand to win the Cannes Creative Effectiveness award. Equally impactful was the Jeep Democracy Drive during India’s 2019 general elections, where Sachin led an initiative to transport voters across some of the most remote and rugged terrains, ensuring that every vote counted.
Today, Sachin sits at the crossroads of storytelling, technology, new media, and innovation, tirelessly pushing boundaries to discover the next idea that will redefine how creativity shapes the world.
